Early Black Friday office chair deals 2025: Enjoy huge savings on these top-rated seats
We're already seeing major price drops on some of our favorite office chairs
You don’t need to wait for the main Black Friday weekend to find worthwhile savings. Early discounts on some of the best office chairs are already live, well ahead of the November 28 rush.
I’m already seeing strong reductions on premium models from FlexiSpot, Secretlab, Boulies and Herman Miller, all of which regularly appear in my roundups for comfort, posture support and long-term use.
I test office chairs for a living throughout the year, and after covering countless sales periods, it becomes clear which deals genuinely offer value and which ones are just noise. The best offers are not always the cheapest, they are the ones that improve comfort, support and everyday working habits.
That is why my recommendations highlight chairs with dependable ergonomics, adjustable lumbar support, quality materials and sturdy construction. These are the features that matter long after the sale ends.
To make things easier, I have also added a brand new Editor’s Picks section to spotlight the chairs my team and I currently consider the best of the best on sale.
Every model featured below has been tested first-hand, so you can browse knowing each one has been properly evaluated. If you are planning a home office upgrade or refreshing your workspace, the early deals listed here are a fantastic place to begin.
What's new? I've introduced a new Editor's Picks section to highlight what the reviewing team view as the best office chairs currently on sale, along with pricing for both the US and UK. New deals have also been added.

When we tested the Vari Task chair in our review, we really enjoyed our time in the seat. It’s built with ergonomics in mind, which is excels at. We found support was fantastic here, but more variants would be nice - for now, it’s just black and grey for that all-important professional touch.

This ergonomic office chair from Vari has one of my favorite features on a desk seat - adaptive lumbar support. This means, it moves as you move, so you’re always supported. Recline is a fair 116-degrees, and can be locked into three positions depending on your preference. Bonus points, too, for the breathable mesh backrest and retractable footrest.

The AndaSeat Kaiser 3 is a professional-looking gaming seat that will suit almost any home office, it comes in PVC leather and fabric - I recommend fabric as it's more breathable for long work and play sessions. The Kaiser 3 XL is also on offer at $449 (see our review here), offering a little extra space and the better choice for big and tall body types.

The Herman Miller Aeron Office chair is one of the sturdiest designs out there (for more, see our review here), and lives up to the excellent reputation Herman Miller has built over the years. I rarely see office chairs in this style priced this low. So, if you want a high-backed mesh computer seat with adjustable headrest, this could be the bargain you've been looking for. I'd expect a few compromises given the cheap price, but it tilts, reclines, and is available in a range of colours.

This is certainly an eye-catching gaming chair, but it's cheap, looks comfortable, and even has the same sort of the detachable neck pillow found on more expensive models from the likes of Razer - but at half the price. Lumbar support is adjustable, too, for added comfort.
Black Friday office chair deals: FAQs and buying advice
When do Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales start?
Black Friday 2025 begins on November 28, followed by Cyber Monday on December 1. The sales end at midnight.
But, as I'm already seeing, plenty of retailers are going early on their Black Friday deals, with the likes of FlexiSpot, Best Buy, and Boulies all offering discounts. So, it's definitely worth starting your shopping early, or at least monitoring prices.
How do I choose the right Black Friday office chair deal?
I've covered everything you need to check in my guide How to choose the best office chair for you.
But here are the main features I recommend checking before committing to any office chair this Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Design
The two main options here are mid-back and high-back office chairs. Mid-back models like the Branch Verve or FlexiSpot Sheer offer support the lower back up to the shoulders, and offer more freedom to move. High-back chairs offer full spinal support including the neck and shoulders, and while movement can be more restricted, I recommend them for workers sitting all day.
Material
The choice here is fabric or mesh. Fabric is good for soft, padded comfort. Mesh is good for firm support and all-day breathability. Which you choose depends on your preference.
You may see some deals on office chairs that are faux leather (sometimes called PU leather or leatherette). I would recommend avoiding these in general, as they lack the breathability of a fabric or mesh chair.
Lumbar support
There are three types of lumbar support to choose here. Fixed lumbar support remains in a single position, and is ideal if you're of average height. Adjustable lumbar support is better all-round, and can be raised and lowered, or even moved backwards and forwards for a more tailored fit for a range of body types. Dynamic lumbar support is the best pick, as it delivers continued support as you shift in your seat.
Ultra-cheap office chairs often have no lumbar support at all, and are best avoided.
Armrests
Most office chair deals have 2D, 3D, or 4D armrests - this determines the number of directions the armrests can be angled (up, down, backward, forward, inward, outward).
Adjustments
This is arguably the most important features to look for when getting a chair that offers a tailored fit. Alongside lumbar support, a good office chair will also offer the ability to adjust the seat height and depth, to ensure you're sitting correctly and properly supported. Lockable recline and tilt are standard on most chairs, but check the specs to be sure. Also check that the headrest, if included, can be adjusted or angled for better neck support, too.
Below, I've created a table to check what height your chair should reach depending on your height.
Price and value
An office chair is an investment - even if it's in a Black Friday deal. In my experience, the cheapest Black Friday office chair deals don't necessarily equal good value for money. Not only do they often lack core features essential for comfort and support, but build quality is usually lower and they can be prone to squeaks and creaks during use.
Where possible, opt for a chair from a brand reviewed by me or my team so you know what to expect. For budget and mid-range chair deals, look at companies like Boulies, FlexiSpot, and Sihoo. At the premium end, Branch, Vari, Friska, Herman Miller, Steelcase all offer great, stylish chairs with long warranties. For gaming and office chairs, Secretlab, Razer, and Corsair all get my vote.
