Style, power, and portability – $400 off this stunning Asus G14 gaming laptop is easy to recommend

It's no secret that we're huge fans of the Asus G14 here at TechRadar – it's been one of our favorite gaming laptops ever since the model's inception. That's why it's easy to recommend a deal at Best Buy today that brings the entry-level RTX 5060 configuration down to $1,399 (was $1,799).

While this is the most basic spec, all the main selling points that made us fall in love with the G14 are present here. Not only do you get a stunning design and lightweight form-factor, but the 2025 model also comes with a stunning 3K 120Hz OLED display.

That makes it the perfect choice if you want a do-everything laptop for both work and casual use. You get a superb display, plenty of power under the hood, and a relatively transportable machine. It is still a little pricey, but Best Buy's current deal knocks a full $400 off, making the outlay a little more manageable.

Despite being the entry-level spec, this machine still offers excellent performance, too. Alongside a new RTX 5060 graphics card, you also get a great Ryzen 9 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. These specs are definitely not super high-end for gaming, but they're more than enough to get you smooth frame rates at 1080p.
