I know that this is the time of the year when a lot of us are shopping for a new laptop – and if a MacBook was at the top of my wishlist, now is the time I'd buy. Why? Well, Best Buy has record-low prices on several models as part of its Labor Day sale, thanks to huge savings of up to $300. I've rounded up all of the best deals right here.

Easily the best offer I've seen is the latest MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) at Best Buy for $799 (was $999). That's the lowest-ever price for the gorgeous and powerful Apple laptop, which we scored an impressive 4.5 out of five in our MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) review.

It's also our number one pick for the best laptop you can buy right now. It's a powerful all-around device thanks to the power and efficiency of the M4 chip, which excels as a creative or productivity workstation for students and for general use. Older and still capable models with the M2 chip are also reduced at Best Buy if you want a save a little extra, though if you can spare the extra $100, it's worth going for the newest model.
